CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE SERVICES

Your appointments are very important for us. It is reserved especially for you. We do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 8hr. notice for cancellations.

We have a 8-hour cancellation policy. 

Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so prior to 8-hours before your appointment. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need.

 We ask that all new and current guests supply a credit card to have on our files.

If we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and cancellations at least 8- hours the following fees will be applied to your credit card. Notification given less than 8- prior to appointment time or failure to show up for your appointment will result in a 50% charge of the reserved service amount

     A “No Show” is not showing up to a set appointment.

   You will be charged 50% of the current regular price for "No-Show" Appointments.

   We may require guests to deposit 50% of the regular price for their service upon

    multiple "No-Show" appointments. 

   Services that are 50 minutes or more in duration are put on "No-Show" Status after 50% of the

    service time has elapsed.               

   BOOKING
  • Appointments must be booked under the account of who is receiving the service.

  • A payment card must be stored on file for bookings to be confirmed. The stored card will not be charged.

  • A valid ID is required for all new guests.

  • All clients must fill out the Waiver form before receiving services.                                                                                               

       

   RUNNING LATE

​    If you arrive late, a Sugaring Technician will do their best to accommodate you. However, your service               cannot be guaranteed and may have to be modified.

NO-SHOW STATUS & NO-SHOW FEE
    SERVICE DISCLAIMER

 

  • Gentle Lux Spa management and staff shall not be responsible for physical or medical conditions that occur should the client neglect to inform us of any stated or unstated medications, conditions, or contraindications, or in the event, the client fails to follow pre- and post–care instructions. 

 

  • Additionally, the client agrees to hold Gentle Lux and its staff harmless of any damages that might occur from receiving services.

 

       During their experience, clients have the right to set boundaries around conversation topics.

Improper Behavior Policy:

Raised voices, swearing, physical intimidation, signs of aggression, threats of violence, or libel (written defamation) will not be tolerated at Gentle Lux Spa.
Solicitation for a Sugaring Technician’s time/services outside of Gentle Lux Spa is prohibited.
No video calls, photography, or recording videos is allowed.
Any unwanted sexual innuendo, propositions, sexual attention, or suggestive comments and gestures; inappropriate humor about sex or gender-specific traits; sexual slurs or derogatory language directed at a Sugaring Technician’s sexuality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, gender expression; insults and threats based on sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or gender expression; and other oral, verbal, written or electronic communications of a sexual nature that an individual communicates is unwanted and unwelcome.

Infractions:
Infractions of improper behavior or sexual suggestion will result in a warning from management up to or including immediate termination of current and future services with any Gentle Lux staff, events, or facilities, possibly resulting in legal action or prosecution.

    MEN'S BIKINI SERVICE POLICY

At Gentle Lux Spa, we prioritize the safety and functionality of our services for clients and Sugaring Technicians. That's why we have a strict policy only performing hair removal on a flacc penis and/or scrotum. This policy is in place to ensure that our clients leave with beautiful, smooth, and healthy skin. We understand that erections can occur naturally, but our are professionals who will handle the situation with the utmost professionalism and respect. If a client experiences an erection during their service, we can continue hair removal on a couple of leg patches or the top of the pubic bone until the penis returns to a flaccid state. If the erection persists, the service will end, and the client can rebook for another time.
